Speaking
“Here’s what people need to know about Magic as a speaker: He will show up on time. He will not go over time. He’s easy to work with, is a pleasure to be around, and has the best laugh ever. And most importantly, he will serve the audience.”
Tricia Brouk- Award winning Director, Author, Producer and Founder of The Big Talk Academy.
See Magic In Action
You may know what the term "Understudy" means in theatre, but do you know what a "Swing" is? Do you know what it takes to be one, successfully? I do. In this talk I use my 25 years of experience as a professional performer and the decade I've worked on Broadway as various forms of a Swing to educate listeners about the position that keeps long running shows going. A position that currently has no space in educational settings.
What People Are Saying…
“That’s why Magic is such a powerful speaker: He allows intimacy to be shared between himself and the audience while still maintaining boundaries, so no one feels uncomfortable or obligated. He leaves an audience member thinking, It’s possible for me to forget. It’s possible for me to be bigger. It’s possible for me to make a difference.”
Tricia Brouk- Award winning Director, Author, Producer and Founder of The Big Talk Academy.
“Years ago, when we were both cast in the same show, he was already exuding the standards and ethics that I now try to instill in my performers. He definitely led by example. And those performing with him instinctively elevated their performance to match his.”
Brian Cross- Manager of Live Entertainment, Worlds of Fun
“He’s a Broadway star, at the top of his craft. And he has turned his experience into a message of redemption, a story of overcoming. We bring in some of the best speakers from across the country for a very big conference—and one of our great keynote speakers has been Antuan. He was incredible.”
Joe Storch- Associate Counsel, Office of General Counsel at the State University of NY (SUNY)
“He’s a great storyteller. And he’s very, very, very engaging. When you’re in the room with him, it’s whoa—he’s got a presence. Nobody’s looking at their phone. Nobody’s distracted. He owns the room.”
Blake Kush- Director of Training and Outreach, NY State Office of Victim Services.
