The Soldier of Love color palette:
Magic is a champion of love, light and joy for others, and the color palette needs to reflect that. Using the existing logo as a springboard, we’ve added some bright periwinkle and a dusky robin’s egg blue to harmonize with the rich orange and purply-blue of the logo. And lots of white space.
It’s fun, fresh, contemporary and feels uplifting.

What’s the vibe of the Soldier of Love brand? And who’s our audience?
The message: Loving.
The theme throughout is the choice we always have: to choose love over fear. Sometimes that looks impossible, and it often takes enormous courage. It’s a call to arms for love. #soldieroflove is for all of us.
WHO’S IT FOR: Fans, followers, seekers, survivors, and people looking for speakers.
The speaker: Inspiring.
What this site communicates about Magic as a speaker: Engaging. Fresh. Real. And someone who’s an example of living what he’s saying.
We’re also going to play up his own successful dance career and showcase his ability to instruct and inspire people in the performing arts.
WHO’S IT FOR: People looking for speakers—related to performing arts as well as other topics, including but not limited to sexual assault awareness.
The advocate: Courageous.
Magic is an advocate for survivors of sexual violence and trauma, and we want to have the Soldier of Love website make it clear that he is available to be on the front lines for the cause.
WHO’S IT FOR: Fellow survivors, people looking for speakers, activist and human rights organizations.

Imperfection celebrated.
This fits with the #soldieroflove belief in people becoming their own source of strength. There’s power in being able to say “Here’s where I am in this moment….” Images chosen will not feel artificial and airbrushed, will have a feeling of realness.
Authenticity.
This will be conveyed in the conversational, real tone of the testimonials, the language used in Magic’s story and throughout the site, and the imagery that subliminally reinforces the notion that life is a come-as-you-are party where all are welcome.
Movement.
Magic is about movement—in life, and in dance. There will be some video used on the site to inject some visual action, plus image animation and design choices such as stair-stepping copy convey a sense of movement.
Beauty.
As an artist, Magic has chosen to devote his life to creating beauty. His brand, and thus the Soldier of Love website, will be visually and emotionally resonant for the viewer, with evocative quotes, rich images, and pleasing color combinations.
Many of the testimonials will be accompanied by images that underscore the deep connection that Antuan creates with his audience members as well as credibility.
Others will show him in performing mode.
